Aloof were a four-headed
British alternative –pop-electronica supergroup, starting with straight-ahead rock but went for mixing electronic and dance
elements with dub influences to create a special kind of downtempo/electronic
Trip-hop, available at four released studio albums.
Dean Thatcher played keyboards, two members - Burns and Kooner - were also members of The Sabres of Paradise, their
drummer Richard Thair went on to join the band Red Snapper.
