Duboniks

Living somewhere between the future jazz of (mostly electronic) artists like Amon Tobin and James Hardaway and the groovy vibe of more mainstream acid jazz, Duboniks find themselves chillin' on a very hep street. Propelled by (of course) fast 'n' fluid vibe playing as well as flute, horns, keys, and a liquid rhythm section, Duboniks also lay on well-placed samples, sultry vocals, and limber percussive touches. Remarkably fresh and forward looking, Duboniks are crossing genres with astonishing deftness and precision. Best of all, they're keeping it funky. --S. Duda

Where do they come from - Nowhere to listen to?
